Help to Buy Scheme on new houses

Does anyone know if the Help to Buy scheme will be extended beyond December this year?
Also, will the maximum house value be increased above £600K?

Actually, phase one has already been extended to 2020. As far as phase two goes the above is probably the best answer you are going to get.0

You do realise it's just a scheme designed to help developers sell overpriced newbuilds by getting desperate/gullible FTBers into even greater levels of debt, don't you?0

Actually I imagine that iantojones40 meant, as opposed to buying a house which did not attract the premium price charged by the companies which benefit from such schemes.
This would give you the benefit you seek but hopefully without having to pay their premium.0
