New gen Qashqai Tekna or Audi A3 Sportsback - which?!

New generation Qashqai Tekna or Audi A3 sportsback S-Line. (both diesel, 1.6 versions, used - probably 2013/4 models)

After spending what seems like an age deciding on what car to get I've narrowed it down to these two. Now, I know they are very different and both meet my needs in different ways.

The new Qashqai has a lot of nifty features, there's no doubt I'd be very comfortable and enjoy the drive. There's park assist, reversing cameras, a new suspension for bumps, adjustable lumber support.... (lots to go wrong lol) It's slightly bigger than I might of liked... I sold my x-trail to downsize!!!

I love driving the A3 too. Not as many gadgets tho in my price range. Perfect size. MPG better than the Qashqai. I'll be doing over 12k per year.

I plan to keep the car for some years so want to get this right. I know ultimately it's down to me, but any words of wisdom please!! Would love to hear from any Audi owners too.

TIA

I looked at your post and the two you have shortlisted have virtually nothing in common. I'm confused.
