Tesco Outlet price warning

I bought a new TV for the bedroom last week from Tesco Outlet on Ebay after doing homework on prices etc. It was reduced as the box was damaged and it was last year's model, but as the box is only sent to recycling and most of the TV programmes are old anyway it looked a good deal!
2 days after delivery I saw exactly the same one in my local Tesco but £20 cheaper.
Be warned that whereas we all think that outlet shops are usually discounted, Tesco doesn't seem to share this view. When I asked them if they would do a partial refund their response was "Although we are Tesco outlet we trade completely independent from Tesco stores and therefore do not offer the same price range as them, unfortunately. I will pass this over to our pricing team for future reference however unfortunately we do not offer a price match service."
The TV was still good value, but I am left with a nasty taste in my mouth.
