Interesting to read a blog from a person unconnected to the forums about the notorious UKCPS who have not featured much recently on here. They are one firm where, if they were infesting a car park, I would avoid the shops there and would write to tell them why.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

A relative of mine collected a ticket from them just a few days before POFA. I told them to FOAD, and have heard no more since, but am waiting for a solicitors letter to pop through the letter box at any moment. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

UKCP's signs are completely non-nonsensical. I was reading one recently where it said that if the driver leaves site then their made-up "rules" have been broken. How can they determine who the driver was, and what if one of the passengers drives that vehicle out of the car-park?What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

They also seem to be uncertain whether that are claiming for liquidated damages for a breach of contract, (v.a.t. free), or a contractually agreed charge, (20% v.a.t.).
I have been assiduously advising people to dob them to The Revenue for the last two years, maybe the vatman has caught up with them. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
