Parking Fine Help!

Hi everyone
I read MSE page on unfair parking tickets. I recently received a letter saying that I had stayed 14 minutes more than I should have done at a retail park which has a number of shops including a supermarket and on Saturday. The letter I have received has gone to an old address in which my car is not registered as I changed all my details when I moved house. It just so happens that I visited the old address last week when I saw the letter. As the letter has not been addressed to me at my registered address should I ignore it?
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

No you should not ignore it, unless you live in Scotland or NI, you could end up with a default CCJ.
Read through the newbies thread and see how to appeal, as keeper do not mention who was driving, then come back for more help, and name the PPC.0 -
It would also be useful for us to have the timeline including date of alleged event, when you informed the DVLA, and when the NTK arrived.
Did you tell the DVLA but both your vehicle and driving licence change of address? The two departments don't talk to each other so it is imperative that both ae done. If you haven't, you need to do it now.
As above, read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES to learn how to beat these unfair charges.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Hi everyone

As has been said, do not bother!
Instead, read the NEWBIES thread here and learn how to appeal without dropping yourself in it.
Which PPC? Acronyms are explained in the NEWBIES READ THIS FIRST thread!I recently received a letter saying that I had stayed 14 minutes more than I should have done at a retail park which has a number of shops including a supermarket and on Saturday. We think you perhaps forgot to update your V5, and only updated your driving licence which does not change the keeper's address for a particular car.
No. Look what can happen:It just so happens that I visited the old address last week when I saw the letter. As the letter has not been addressed to me at my registered address should I ignore it?
