My wife's 0% interest rate is ending on a credit card (1) that she got to transfer a balance, she also has another credit card (2) which has a balance on it but the bank is offering 0% for 18 months on balance transfers on this card.

Is it possible to transfer the balance from credit card (2) to credit card (1) then transfer the total amount on credit card (1) back to credit card (2) to take advantage of the 18 months at 0%?

In theory yes subject to a balance transfer offer being available on credit card 1 and a willingness to pay 2 balance transfer fees.

Just for information, my wife decided to do as I first enquired about , it cost £27 in transfer fees but she is saving a lot more than that in interest
