Letter before Claim

Hi everyone,

Please offer me some advise, it will be gratefully received....

In december 2015 i receieved 3 (bad i know) PCNs from Park Direct Ltd. I ignored all of them, although i now understand this is not advised.

I have now got a letter before claim from Gladstones Solicitors demanding £445 for these 3 unpaid parking charges. They have requested payment with 14 days or a full written response within 14 days or proceedings against me will start.

I am a community nurse and at the time of all 3 tickets i was with a sick patient. I have got a ticket on this private estate before and tried to appeal it stating my circumstances but i was ordered to pay the fine...and i did, the first time. There is limited parking around this estate and when i am carrying heavy supplies its, take a chance or hurt my back.

Has anyone got any guidance on how i can respond to this letter?

Thanks

Search the forum for 'Gladstones LBCCC'. Others have shown their replies lots of times, which you can copy from.

But also be aware you are likely to have to fight this at a hearing. We have loads of threads about Gladstones defences and Parking Prankster blog links showing how they bungle cases!

So, first advice is to search the forum and read other Gladstones threads.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
