Hoseasons Lodge Holidays

Hi
Has anyone been on one of these recently? I fancy staying in the UK next year to reduce hassles and like the look of the North Wales "Brynteg" site.
Has anyone been there, or to any of the other parks? Are the lodges of a good size and standard and how safe did you find it for children to have a bit of freedom (my eldest will be 9 and 7).
Many thanks
Hayley

I love Hoseasons holidays, have been on more than I can remember, usually staying in the 'log cabins'. Haven't been to Wales though.
I think the cabins are absolutely excellent for space and comfort. A lot of the parks are very family friendly too. Just ask when booking if you need to about safety for the individual park - I'm sure it's fine as there will be rules they HAVE to follow, but for example one park I stayed in scotland had lodges running along the edge of a stream which you might not be too keen on.OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0 -
Thanks, will do that. Also planning a short break in Derbyshire in the summer hols, either the Darwin Forest or Sandybrook site, don't suppose you have been to either of those?

Our 3 children put together and paid for a week's break in one of Hoseasons log cabins in North Devon for our silver wedding anniversary.
I can say, without a doubt it was a wonderful second honeymoon - better than the original
Go for it - I'd go again like a shot!!!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
