Caught speeding while at work?

Sort of, however they get a cut of the revenue from speed awareness courses. However this wouldn't apply in Scotland.0

I just received a ticket too - 42 in a 30. Now, I know that sounds bad but I was exiting a small borders town on the nice wide A7 - police were sitting right on the national speed limit sign but hidden off to the right. If they were worried about speeding, they would have been in plain sight of the left of the road but they were being sneaky, dare I say it, trying to raise some cash?
There is a lot of accidents on the A7 and the A68.
Maybe their assumption is if you are willing to do 41 in a 30 you are willing to do 100 on a 60 road.
Bearing in mind it is a rural road and lots of tractors out at the moment you could be in the wrong end of a baler before you know it.0
