    You misunderstand my post.


    You are wrongly advising us that if a "claim" is dealt with outside your insurer (as yours was), then it isn't a "claim" at all. You do have a claim to declare!


    It makes no difference who dealt with your incident, it was a "claim", ultimately paid out by the third party insurer.


    You therefore will have it on your record as such (a no-fault claim)


    (Your insurer was wrong to attempt to get you to pay for the full year's premium, and look to have been trying it on!)
  • I think some wires got crossed. I see what you're saying now. Definitely the Jet lag on my side kicking in. Apologies I was trying to say it wasn't a claim with insurer but a claim with the AMC. But yes, entirely I think they were trying it on.
