Honda crv 2.2 diesel
Hi
I own the above and it currently has my heart broke, going in and out of limp mode while driving!
It was diagnosed with TPS fault, so replaced the sensor, drove the car around 10 miles and I'm back into limp mode, same fault showing, engine malfunction light on etc.
Tried the solution in the handbook, start engine, let it run, switch off , repeat x three times, and it rectified it, run for five miles, then back into limp mode again
I had this problem around three years \ 60k miles ago and replaced the TPS and fuel line etc.
The car is due to go to the dealership this week for safety recall work and product recall work, airbags, electric window switch and Egr valve are all to be replaced, but due to the amount of money i have already spent on the car recently, I'm not wanting to spend any on a dealership service - diagnosis etc.
The mechanic who fitted the TPS this morning showed me the readings and tells me the car should not be in limp mode with them readings (100%) and voltage ( sorry can't remember these figures but they were both stable, not erratic or spiking etc)
Has anyone solved this problem before, Can you override or bypass limp mode?
Any advice? Thanks

It will help people to help you if you know what P codes are being indicated.0

I dont other than they are both TPS faults0

Slightly off topic but when the car goes in for the work would consider having the egr valve blanked instead of being replaced?0
