House Insurance Scam

Hi new to this forum so please bear with me. In the past couple of days I have received two home insurance quotes from Churchill and Direct Line. Both letters say that I recently requested a quote. One letter had my name spelled wrong and the other quoted a phone number that belongs to a scam call centre. My other details were correct. As I did not request these quotes I contacted Churchill and they confirmed that both quotes were triggered by separate phonecalls supposedly from me. This has now been referred to the fraud section who are investigating.
I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if you have any ideas what a fraudster could hope to get from these insurance quotes.

It may not be a fraudster. it could be a neighbour using your details to get example quotes so it does not harm their pricing (playing with figures can increase your premiums with some providers)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The thing is that whoever rang gave my correct date of birth which my neighbour does not know.0
