I have a laptop running Windows 10. My husband, for some reason best known to himself, downloaded Wondershare onto it and now I'm having loads of problems with the laptop - applications crashing, very slow etc.
He has uninstalled from Control Panel but I'm still getting a pop up Wondershare Helper Exe every time I switch the laptop on and I suspect it will take some removing.
I have run Malwarebytes and scanned with Avast but I'm at the end of my knowhow and could do with some handholding as to what to do next. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."

I have found
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Wondershare
but I can't delete it because it says it is open or running."Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Does it have a restore point from before Wondershare was installed?

Alas no, I've checked and system restore wasn't activated which I hadn't realised."Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Start in safe mode (google how to do this), Then delete the folders.
ADW cleaner will get rid of the registry entries that try to run it at startup and any associated tasks in the scheduler0 -
Thanks everyone - I've used the removal tools and manually deleted folders and now can't find it on a search, so fingers crossed it's all gone!
I'm also changing the password on my laptop . . . this was all because he was flapping about putting music on his new phone, so I've made sure he's got the Backstreet Boys on there!"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret.
