Other people cannot reply to my comments on Youtube Videos!

Hi guys,

I've had this problem for about 6 months now and it's annoying me!

When i comment on a youtube video, nobody can reply to me. I don't know why!
I've gone into my Google plus settings and made sure that my settings allow 'Everyone' to comment on my posts, but that hasn't made any difference.

Any ideas what i should do please?

What happens when someone tries to reply ?


Do they get an error message, or is there simply not a reply button there ?


Can you link to one of your comments so i can see ?

Thanks Andy. I am not sure if they see a reply button..I've just looked at one of my recent comments and i could reply to my own comment, but didn't get the notification...so not sure if i have fixed it?

My friend has a YT channel and she says that she doesnt see a 'reply' option, but i can see it?

How do i link to a comment?

Maybe link to a video you have commented on and tell us your username (PM me if you want) so i can see what happens if i try to reply.


Is it just this one person who has said they cant reply to your comments ?

No, several people have said they cant reply either.

I replied just fine !!


Im at a loss as to why they wouldnt be able to ..
I will try again from a different account when i get home - but i dont think the problem is at your end

Ahhhh. i just changed something in my YT settings...not sure what though, LOL.
