Paid a parking fine when I didn't have to

Hi,
I was at mecca bingo about a month back, I received a fine in the post a few days after saying I didn't pay for parking and now have to pay £60 which ended up being £100 because I didn't pay it within the 14 days. However I have just seen I post on here saying if I was playing bingo I get free parking anyway. (I just assumed I must of had to pay) is there anything I can do to claim my £100 back?? I'm so mad at myself for not looking into it.

Ooops. Nope. Not unless Mecca Bingo will step in when you complain. No chance otherwise.
Whatever the circs, you didn't have to pay. A private parking charge is NOT to be paid. See the NEWBIES thread though, because as my signature says, they are not to be ignored either. Next time, read current advice on a forum first.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
