had minor bump with another vehicle at beginning of july - two lanes into car park merging into one - both pulled forward at same time and bumpers touched - no damage to my car but exchanged insurance details and then notified my insurers - made it clear that no damage to my car so no claim being made by me - phoned insurers today and they have not received anything from other party or her insurers ?? possibly no damage to her car - not sure how to treat this when renewing my insurance and also insurance for wife's car where i am named driver?? claim?no claim? fault or not??

Put it down as a "loss", no claim on both policies.
Should a claim turn up from the other side in future (they have 6 years to make a claim for damage) then you can update your insurer of the situation.0 -
I had a no fault bump in our car for which my husband is the first named driver. No claim was made via our policy (other party admitted fault), but when my husband came to renew the aforementioned car's policy, he called to explain and they wanted to increase the premium by 25%,until he protested .The result was I believe just a few pounds (£8?), to which he agreed as the price was still competitive .0
