Bosch Rotak Lawnmower blade not spinning

Hi

I had a bosch lawnmower working ok and then one fine day the blades jammed and would not move. I opened the lawnmower to look inside and opened it up so much that I could not put back together, all it needed was a new blade and I mucked it up completely. Well I could never remove the blade either so then I gave up and went on ebay and bought a used one as I did not want to spend money on a new one just yet, It worked fine for about 2 minutes and then a string, that my neighbour was using to mark the fence post heights and all, got stuck in my blade, I removed it by hand and then it just stopped and the blade does not move. So now I have two mowers with same problem, I opened this mower up as well but not to the extent that I forget how to put it back, I can see the thread and the underside but I cant get to it, even if I open the mower I cant get it to it, is there any other way of getting to it.

I cant quite picture what you mean when you say you can "see the thread"? I had this problem on a Rotak 32 which I had and it was just the drive belt that was knackered from when the blade got jammed up. A couple of quid on ebay and it was going again.

I mean I can see what is stuck there, its a very tiny piece of thread. but it is behind a red part that is attached to the blade, I will try and post a picture of it. There is a screw that attaches the blade to a tiny red metal thing, and behind that red metal, I Can see a spring and the thread stuck. I am sorry if i have still not made myself clear.
