My wife's Kindle Fire has finally given up, keeps turning off and reuses to charge.
This is a replacement for her first Kindle and is well out of guarantee.
She wants a new device, not another Kindle Fire, something that she can transfer her paid for books and numerous cash coins for her extra levels on her games to.
Any suggestions?

iPad/iPad mini?
My kindle died so I just downloaded the kindle app and it was all there, even the page I was on! Not too good with reflected light though, so cannot read in direct sunshine. (Although I'm sure there would be a screen cover for it if I looked!)
Not sure about the games, but I guess the same would apply? :j:D:beer::eek::A:p:rotfl::cool::):(:T0 -

Apple and Android tablets can both run the Kindle book app. Not so sure about transferring coins for games - that might work on Android if you install the apps via the Amazon app store (rather than the normal Google play store).
We just bought a £39.99 Kindle Fire tablet, and it's our second in the house. If you want a good Android tablet alternative it's worth reading up on them. Some good ones to check out are:
Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro
Nvidia Shield Tablet K1
Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70
The Nvidia is meant to be very good for gaming. I'd be looking at the £149 10" 2GB RAM Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 myself0
