Amazon fire stick/android box?

Afternoon

So I live in the dark ages and havs never used or watched any Netflix stuff. I watch TV as it is, freeview/terrestrial.

I don't have time for series and I'm a decade behind and not bothered.

I use my smartphone for net and iPlayer etc.

I do want to get in with streaming movies at the weekend.

What is my best bet? Android box, Amazon fire stick?

I'm guessing id need to subscribe to some service to get content?

Can I do it free, HD quality somehow?

An amazon stick , or android box will achieve pretty much the same thing.
ie give you access to netflix etc


You would need to subscribe to one of the services to view the content
(Although itv player etc are free)


There are ways to get everything for free by using Kodi on one of the devices - But as using it in this way is illegal its best not discussed here.

If it's an android phone then download showbox to your phone and either connect your phone to the tv or use something like chromecast to transfer the picture.

You can stream from your phone / computer but only if you have an HD tv?
