Hi
Can anyone recommend a fairly low cost UK payroll software, that works out tax, NI, overtime, holidays. It doesnt need to be RTI, I just need it to stop a little job becoming a big one!

There is a short guide here : - https://www.gov.uk/payroll-software/overview
And i have heard good things about SAGE and Brightpay ,
But my experience goes as far as installing them, not using them im afraid ..0 -
Have you considered outsourcing your payroll? Might be worth investigating the cost compared to investing time and money in software that could be complete overkill for your needs.0

thank you both. No, not going to outsource at the moment as prefer to do it myself, im just looking for a simpler solution. Might end up using excell but I hoped i could lay my hands on the software for a off the hanger one.0

For how many people do you want to run your payroll?
And how much do you want to pay?0 -

Tried a few and stuck with this one.
Payroo is ok and free, it is a bit fiddly compared to others I have used.0 -
Thanks Fishybusiness, thats the problem Ive got. I like Payroo, but it is a bit of a strange one. I like to work everything out before I put it into payroo, so im looking for something thats just stored on my computer, that will do the calculations such as wage, overtime, accrued holidays etc, without me using paper and calculator, so i can eneter them into payroo correctly.0
