What does your new car order contract state about this option, is it included in that?I signed the finance agreement last week. They've now come back to me saying an optional extra i ordered was not included in these figures and they want me to sign a new agreement an an extra cost of 8.50 a month
Am I compelled to sign this new agreement?0 -

I am sure they regret the day they ever let you buy a car off them0 -
As long as you are prepared to cancel the whole thing and start again with a different dealer - depends how good you are at bluffing. In that case tell your dealer to stick to the contract they agreed to.
I almost had that with the last new car I bought - I'd signed the paperwork and was ready to leave and asked the salesdroid what a specific code on the description meant. She checked and realised there was a satnav pre-installed that she hadn't charged for (and I hadn't asked for) then told me that it would be £500 extra. I pointed out that I'd signed for a specific car at a specific price and wasn't responsible for their mistakes. I was prepared to tell them to shred the paperwork in front of me but after a discussion with the manager, they backed down and kept to the price as signed. (I presume it came out of her commission...)I need to think of something new here...0 -
