Dorothy Perkins Store Card PPI

Hi All
Ok this is my first so hoping I am not asking a silly question!!!
My wife had a Dorothy Perkins Store Card with PPI on it from a long time ago and I have read some recent press regarding possible PPI claims on these store cards.
Here is my issue/Question
She has no Paperwork/Account Numbers or Information regading the above account, she has a rough idea of when the card was taken out and when she closed it off and that is about it.
She also changed surnames during the life of the account and moved address when she got married previously.
So my question is really where do we need to start with this and is it worth the time and effort to proceed with this as a claim???
Any ideas or advice would me greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Damian

You've probably read this:
www.mirror.co.uk/money/you-used-store-card-1990s-7114139
Santander and if necessary > the FOS (Ombudsman) > Genworth (the underwriter) is currently the successful route re store cards from the then Arcadia Group [DP, Debenhams, TopMan, etc]
The Santander PPI team are very helpful and can often provide an account/policy number over the 'phone, after having searched by name and address.
If not you can send a SAR (Subject Access Request).
Is it worth it? Well I've known claimants receive anything from £2 to £10k re these cards. Each case depends on the number of cards, amounts spent and period of time you held the cards. If successful you'll also receive 8% pa interest so this element often makes it worthwhile. Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0
