Need to scroll down in favourites in Edge, but not Chrome

Using chrome, in one of my favourite folders, there are 22 items and there's still room for a few more without scrolling, yet if I were to use Edge, there are only 13 visible due to spaces between each, thus it is a case of scrolling, which I would prefer not to do. How can this be condensed please.

There doesnt seem to be a way to do this yet. Not even registry tweak.
However , Edge is still a work in progress and i expect this to be rectified in later builds.
For now, unpin it from your taskbar, and pin IE there instead0 -

Really? I haven't used IE in years. Is it a case of downloading IE ? how does it compare these days and when the Edge thing has been resolved, just remove IE and go back to Edge?
Coincidentally, when I bought this new laptop a month ago, with W10 and Edge, I was a bit afraid it would be too much to deal with so installed Chrome, the browser I used for years before. Having said that, would you now say use IE, or carry on using Chrome. It was only yesterday that I felt I should get the feeling for Edge. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
IE is there already on Win 10. On any web page shown in Edge click the three dots on the top right then select "Open with Internet Explorer". I pinned a shortcut to IE on on my taskbar for the odd occasion I need it. I virtually never use Edge as it is a work in progress. If you are using Chrome you may as well stick with that.0

just type iexplore into the search box, then right click the icon and "pin to taskbar"0

Because I can, I think I will, that is try out IE, especially as it is available and I didn't know it. Something to look forward to at dawn. Thanks, will report back. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

You know what? I am doubly, no, five times pleased.
1, for you telling me about this
2.because it has achieved the list of favs within the viewable page
3, because I can remove Chrome and thus free up space
4, I can now see MSE without lines merging, ie the private message bar merged.
5, I have to ensure a new laptop is "ready to go" for son-in-law when he arrives from Cyprus and he like me wasn't over-joyed at W10 reports, IE will suit him fine
So all in all, a job well done. thanks. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Not as good as some offerings for Firefox (I would recommend Firefox over IE) but it does work and is quite good.
The only small downside is that it does let some ads through, but they tend to be small unobtrusive ones that have been vetted by ABP (or paid no doubt lol)0 -

Andy, I looked for myself, decided on ABP but there were still ads, so went in deeper and unchecked "allow some ads through" and that has cleared it up. Plus, I have removed chrome via add/remove. I am very pleased so far, fingers crossed. Will look at your link though. PS, it's the same version. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
