I'm new to the forum and am really hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My company has made a fun video and they've said if we can get 1000 views on YouTube by 17/9/16 they'll donate £1 to Macmillan cancer for every view so that's £1000 - we've tried everything Twitter Facebook the lot but time is running out and we're stuck on 500 views. I really want the full £1000 donated but don't know how to get more views

Have you contacted MacMillan to see if they can publicise it for you?

We've # them in and @macmillan cancer on Twitter a few times but no luck - it's disappointing but we do show a product as part of the video so perhaps they think it's product placement, but it's just a bit of fun for charity

I'm not the greatest on social media, but by 'contacting' them I had something more concrete in mind, eg phoning or emailing their fundraising dept ...

well found, never - that's the one - we're really not trying to spam this site though so we not looking for clicks - just help - we've contacted Macmillans direct, but advise they are very busy so it might take a while for them to reply (which is good if they're busy) so any other help would be gratefully received
