Hope someone can advise me please I am in a messy situation. I have been with my partner 18 years with two kids, never married. I bought a house 15 years ago in my name and have just finished paying the mortgage as my partner wasn't interested in property and had a bad credit score. Anyway, nextdoor was put up for sale very cheaply so we bought it. The title deeds are in my partners name but I remortgaged my property to buy it. We have now separated and he wants to keep the house nextdoor and leave me with the £50,000 mortgage. He has never paid anything towards the houses which can all be proved by bank statements etc. Now I am stuck with him living in a house nextdoor that I am paying for for the next 20 years, a nightmare as he been violent towards me and bullied me for the last 15 years. I had to call the police the other week as he knocked me out and hit our teenage boy. I really don't know what to do as I can't afford a solicitor. Please can someone advise me as to what I am entitled to legally. Thanks

Go see CaB but you really need a good family law solicitor who understands property also.
So sorry for what has happened: Unacceptable.
