Booked flights with TC

Hello, looking for some advice really. Booked a flight to usa with Thomas cook on Saturday and paid £400 but just seen they dropped a price by £40. Is there anything can be done?

Stop looking at prices when you've already looked!

    Just say exactly this ^^^^^

There is no legislation that covers price decreases after purchase so you are relying on TC's Goodwill (good luck with that). :)

If the price had gone up £40 would you be phoning them up to give them the money?
It is annoying but once you've booked don't check again........

    That's not very nice.

Not even a £5 off voucher for a bottle of bubbly on board?
