If so, probably better to add a caveat to that effect.
Me and my pal both have office jobs and we have always worked second jobs right through from our 20's. We are now in our 40's and stopped the bus.
10 years ago she took a job @ Lloyds TSB and her job was to take calls on a Saturday from people who had got a new debit card through. The sticker said to call for the card to be activated. But she was to push them to take insurance on their account. Failing that home insurance or card protection. She has to get a sale out of every 5 callers.
Then it all kicked off about PPI.
Me and her still laugh now about the situation.
She got many thousands of pounds in bonuses and a new Sony TV and a ROTARY watch all through scamming the callers. She knew what she was telling them was a load of rubbish but that was her job for those 8 hours.
I just worked in Victoria Wine for 10 hours on a Sunday and even with my shift premium she earned double me.
The LTSB was the worlds worst for mis selling of products. I know that from my bezzie. And that's why I love hear about this skank of a bank.
I cannot tell at all from the article whether Lloyds is attracting more or less than its "fair share" of complaints. The only good thing is that I have been prompted to do a little digging into the underlying report, where perhaps I will learn something useful.
Lloyds used to be very good. TSB was the sales heavy arm. They brought the sales mentality from TSB into Lloyds. It went downhill from there. It may be back to just the Lloyds brand but its no the Lloyds of old.
About as surprising as the chap with the biggest feet owning the largest pair of shoes.
