HSBC CTL sample wording

Hi, We are about to request the CTL to HSBC for our flat for 12 months as we are going to live abroad for that period of time.
We haven't agreed the rent yet but the Estate Agent in looking to get someone in for early October.
I read somewhere here that they ask you rent is 125% of your mortgage monthly payment which I dont think we will get, so I guess we will have to try and see what they said.
Anyone has a template letter to share? We dont know what to say on the letter or how much detail we need to give i.e. monthly rent asking price, savings, over payments, exact dates, reasons for renting, etc.
thanks!:o

why do you need a template? simply state your position - you wish to let the house and wish to ask for consent to let.
I am sure they will contact you if they need further details, or, novel thought, why not ask them what they need to know instead of asking the internet since it is they who are in control not strangers on the internet0 -
Hi booksurr,
Im just trying to learn from the experience of others (strangers) that have done this before. I was hoping to get helpful and kind replies, sadly this one is not, but thank you for your time

You might not like booksurr's answer but it is the right one. In the time you've taken to create and post on this thread you could have either (or possibly both) asked HSBC or written the request.0
