Help to buy Isa - how long to receive money?

Hello,

The request has been sent to the people who pay out the bonus money... however, I am wondering if anyone has any experiences to advise how long they waited as I want to exchange the end of this week if possible.

Thanks

  • Our solicitor told us after they receive the letter which confirms the ISA has been closed, it takes 5 working days for the bonus to be paid to them
    Starting mortgage (Sep 2016): £314,124.00
    Current balance (Oct 2018): £267,400.00
    2018 OP so far: £14233.27/[STRIKE]£10,000[/STRIKE] £14,000
  • The same thing happened with me as with kerry90. I gave them two weeks just in case, but they sorted it, got it done in time and sent me an updated completion figure. But the bonus is meant to be for completion, not for exchange, so you may want to check that
Mortgage Debt £53,879.68 as of 2nd July
Help to Buy Equity Loan Debt £26,799
