Long term car rental?

My car died a death yesterday, and I'm looking to replace it with something half decent, so am looking for a deal (HP / PCH / PCP, who knows yet). Unfortunately, I have a Debt Relief order on my credit file, which is supposed to be removed at the end of this month, so I'm hoping this will allow me to find a better deal. In the meantime, I still need to get around (public transport can't help me) and so wondered if anyone had any advice on where to find a cheap month-long rental. The cheapest I've found is £269 from the 9th Sept to 3rd Oct. Seems like a waste of money, but I need to get to work.. any ideas please?

That's just over a tenner a day, seems pretty good to me. Does that include all the insurance/CDW/unlimited mileage/breakdown cover/etc?

Don't pay the daily excess waiver cover. Buy an excess insurance policy instead. It will be much cheaper.
