A local guesthouse presents lots of video clips from locations round the town/area. They have said I can lift them to use on another site. Yesterday somehow I succeeded by copying the embedded code. This brought with it much goobledegook, instead of a simple url. Ideally the simple url is what I want to copy but don't know how. It would be taken from one FB site to another. What I don't want is the whole page of text etc.
My second question is this. I have a new windows 10 laptop and use chrome (rather than edge). I downloaded the free version of WPS writer. I have saved a couple of letters, but as yet haven't been able to locate where they are held. In Open Office I would click to left and there would be a drop down list New, Open etc. so where is this please?.

The letters will be located where you saved them, which is probably in whatever default folder WPS allocated if you didn't change it. Either do a search for the file name if you know what it is, or start WPS and click on Save As, which should tell you where it is going to save the document.0

Hans 2, it worked. I managed to trial it before we went out earlier and I'm well pleased with the result thanks to you and your link.
agrinnall, I will work on your suggestion later and get back to you.
PS, yes you too were right. I made it my first thing on agenda today and found it. What I hadn't realised is that the WPS wasn't just a logo, it was a clickable logo and there was the link to "open" and "new" etc. Thanks. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
