I'm hoping someone will be able to help me please. I recently got married and am trying to update my relationship status and tag my now husband in it. We are friends on Facebook, although there was a period of time that we weren't and I'm wondering if this is causing the issues? We were both set to 'in a relationship' with each other. Then had a period when we weren't friends on Facebook and obviously weren't tagged in each others relationship status. We are now 'friends ' on there again and would like to be tagged in a 'married' relationship status. If either of us tries, it doesn't bring the other persons name up on the list of people you can tag. I've tried manually inputting his name but it doesn't work. Please can someone help me?? It's extremely frustrating!!
Thank you in advance.

Start by both clearing your relationship statuses back to single then one of you change to married and tag the other person - this will prompt them to accept the notification where it will update their status as well.0

We've tried that already, honestly, it's so frustrating!! It'll let me tag him in a normal post. But not in a relationship or life event status!0

You sure neither of you has 'Blocked' the other? Better check your blocked list to see. Also might have to re-friend each other and check your privacy settings do not exclude the person you want to tag. Then one of you may have settings such that searches for people have restrictions, like 'Friends' but if the other person isn't a friend it might not come up. Look at this
Go to your profile and click About, then Family and Relationships in the left column.
Click Add your relationship status or hover over your relationship and click Edit.
Choose your relationship status from the dropdown menu. :cool:0 -
Just checked and there's no blocking, we are definitely 'friends'. I can tag him in a normal post, just not in relationship status.0
