Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
Its wet here, glad I did the laundry yesterday, its all dry and folded away just have a tee shirt and shirt to iron.
Its a wet morning, a bit like my mood, OH woke me at 3 am coughing, he was still sleep, from then on I only dozed, got up at the back of 8 am.
Hopefully today is the day the wet room installation is completed, I think we may have the water off for most of the day so need to fill jugs etc. think again Gungadin its not going to be finished till Wednesday at the earliest, BD has decended........I am so cross they did not give us the proper time scale when they came to do the survey.
I hate this microsoft edge, but cannot find a way round it. I spent all day yesterday trying to import documents, pictures etc. I discovered that my microsoft money will not work with edge, so not happy about that. I use it to forcast how the money is going to pan out over the 3 months coming, so had the forecast in to Jan next year. I will have to see if there is a similar programme that I can use on Edge.
The remains of last nights stuffed chicken breast for supper, no idea what we are getting for dessert, will think of something. Might do OH semolina, I hate the stuff, it will not hurt me to go without.
The chap is here to do more work on the bathroom, he tells me the plumber cannot get here until Wendesday.........I am about to tear my hair out, I hate mess, the bungalow is like a tip and I have not had a proper wash since last wednesday.:mad: I could cry.0 -

Hi everyone,
I am in one of my not sleeping phases at the moment, although that isn't quite right because once I'm asleep I sleep quite well, it's getting there that's the problem.
Dumpling, good luck today, the anticipation is usually worse than the doing. Hester, good luck to you as well, I just wish you were able to tell them where they could shove their job. Coxy, I hope it's not too long before DH finds a decent job.
I managed to weed most of the garden yesterday except for a small corner which I'll try to do today if the weather brightens up. I also want to do the ironing ready for packing for our trip to Italy.0 -
coxy 11 hang on with the washing until tomorrow or Wednesday if you can as blistering days are forecast for Kent.
Damp and drizzly at the moment ,shortly going to another fundraising cake sale at my knitting club, will treat the boys if I see a nice cake from my Happy Cash Stash
May try to find some blackberries later up in the woods if the weather clears up a bit

It looks a bit dull today so not sure if it is worth putting the washing outside. Dishwasher is about to be unloaded and then I want to tidy kitchen and then unpack and assemble my bargain steam cleaner.
I need to go to post office later to return a dress that does not fit so I can get a refund. While I am there I would like to get cards and pretty wrapping paper for a christening at the weekend.
Breakfast will be an omelette and tea, lunch will be the stuffed chicken breast I cooked yesterday and dinner will a mystery depending on what I see when I go out later.
Still pleased with ourselves as older dd and her husband, me and mse did some research yesterday afternoon for middle dd who was complaining about her energy bills. Between us we helped switch her to another supplier which will save over £200 and probably more and the credit she has built up will be returned to her. We even found her a better paying cash isa and how to transfer it easily so she does not exceed the limits.

I know how horrible it is when everything is a mess. I had that for nearly six months but at least I was never without a shower for more than a couple of days or so. I hope everything gets sorted out soon and you can feel more settled and safe. It will be worth it in the end.
Hugs to all"This site is addictive!"

I had a terrible nights sleep and ended up kicking OH out into the spare room as he was snoring so loud ! I could still hear him through two shut doors but I eventually got off to sleep about three ish, today will be a long day !
At the moment, we have Ronnie sleeping in the bedroom with us, and the little guy snores for England!
I need to lose some weight, I think. Mr LW was helping me off with my dress last night (for those who don't know, I have to have assistance dressing/undressing) and the bloomin' thing was getting stuck on me boobs!:eek:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Evening. It's been an odd day for me. I've been reading posts now and then though never got round to posting.
My day consisted of doing loads of paperwork and emails, mostly clearing out long unfinished stuff which is now off my plate at last.
Off for an early night as I've got student inductions all day tomorrow - I'll line up the gin ready for pouring when I get home.0
