Best Buy credit card or debit card attached to a current account.

Recommendations are on the main site and include Halifax clarity, nationwide flex plus, nationwide select, Norwich and peterborough current account and a few others.
  • When I went to Port Elizabeth in November last year I took cash, had my cc with me as back up in case I needed it.

Was in SA for christmas and new year. Took a bit of cash and did the rest on a Revolut. Most of the restaurants accepted cards and had no issues with cash machines.

Out and about never carry too much cash on you, especially at night. Just take what you need. I didnt have any problems what so ever but stay vigilant out there.
