Hi hope someone can give me some guidance for my sister, I need to work out if Housing Benefit will assist her on my first degree course. Single mum

Works Part Time: 16-18hrs per week - 7k p.a (666 per month)
Children at home: 13, 16 and 19. (19 does not work or claim any DWP benefit)
Council Tax p.a: £1425
Working Tax and Child Tax: £180 p/w
Rent: £600 (HB Currently pays £300 per month)

Uni
Student Loan: £3000
Lone Parent Assistance £500

No other income. She needs to work out if Housing benefit will be totally slashed and have to pay full rent or whether it will be reduced from the current £300 per month. She is looking to budget for the coming months and needs to know if the student laon affects her. Unable to find any calculators out there that takes into account part time worker and full time student.
