Hi
I am due to move soon and will be at my current rented property 5 days longer than a calendar month meaning i need to pay 5 days worth of rent extra to my landlord. If i stated that i am happy for the 5 days rent to be taken out of my tenancy deposit does that seem feasible / acceptable?
Thanks in advance.

Probably not to the Landlord.0

Not normally acceptable, but you can ask.
Notice would normally have to align with a rental period so, assuming your rent is paid monthly, an extra 5 days would mean another month to pay. And not normal to pay rent out of the deposit.0 -

Are you sure about that? And not a month?0 -
Only if you can negotiate this with your landlord. Your notice should align with your tenancy periods (what date did your tenancy start) and your notice depends on how frequently you pay your rent; monthly, weekly, every 28 days, etc.0

I am paying 5 days extra as i am leaving before my tenancy term.0

Another tenant has been found and will move in 5 days after my usually scheduled monthly rent payment.0

I am a landlord, it much depends on your tenancy agreement, you have to give 1 months notice prior to the end of the monthly rental date. Unless you can negociate early release then its 1 month and 5 days rental you will have to pay0
