A lot of coolbags and flasks for some reason. Some odd t shirts. For me one of the best things about comping is it gets me to try things I wouldn't have otherwise - so tickets to places and unusual foods are good. Also I won a bake box subscription which I absulutely love. It also helps me bake better stuff to enter more baking comps so that's a win-win. I've won quite a few hampers over the years and all the wicker storage baskets now house my crafting equipement - they're brilliant for that. And I've used some empty hampers to make new hampers as gifts for friends tailoered to their tastes.
A couple of days ago I won a wind up massager and wind up torch - would never have thought of buying them but I actually think they're great.
Can't think what else but I get a lot of pleasure out of the odd and unusual things and a lot of laughs out of things I see or end up doing in the name of comping. It really isn't all about just the winning for me.2018 - £562 2019 - £130 2020 - £276 2021 - £106 2022 - £1400 -

I am the proud owner of an apple shaped box, in which I can store one apple, should I feel the need. On the other hand we're now big fans of Crabbies alcoholic ginger beer since winning a crate last year.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. A rather expensive bi-monthly purchase of Khiel's moisturising cream after winning a pot and loving it!
I also have quite a few pretty wicker baskets at home now used for storage from hamper wins over the many years I have been comping. I would never have bought these myself but they've come in handy!0 -
very large promotional t-shirts, great for sleeping/lounging in. I'm coeliac so have won free from products from companies that I hadn't tried and loved some of their products. And the big cardboard boxes I pass to my mum who makes hampers.2018 wins-12wins0

Friends, connections and experiences!
Over the years I've made a few comper friends and met some of them in real life, even though some of them no longer comp we still talk
I've found new products that I'd probably never buy - the main one being Vosene (nit-repellent shampoo) - anyone with kids knows the struggle and I won a bottle and it seems to be the only one that does what it says!
I've been able to take my family out for experiences I'd never be able to afford otherwise! A VIP trip to Longleat a few years back being one of them - the stay in the hotel was definitely something I'd never do - it was sooooo posh! Thanks to all posters :A0 -
A weather station, very interesting, but something I'd never have spent my own money on. More cat beds than I have cats but they seem to like to have a change. Bottles of perfume, I think spending money on a smell is a waste. A fancy keyboard and mouse that lights up and changes colour, I love it but couldn't have justified the cost. Various smellies with silly high price tags. One of my favourites was a years supply of Rekorderlig fruit cider in a variety of flavours. Not something I'd buy other than the odd bottle for a treat. It was a lot of fun having 12 big crates of the stuff delivered
Sadly there's only one solitary bottle left now.

food related subscriptions - I won some red letter day vouchers and used some for a spice subscription - get fresh spices sent monthly with recipe card and have made some fantastic meals and curries - managed to stretch this out to over 2 years worth!
also a chocolate subscription which has been so so - loved some of the chocs, rest have gone in the bin (realised I'm not keen on dark chocolates - so glad I didn't spend own money on it, not that I would have at £200 a year:eek:)
most oddest is a truffle tree - it's a hazel tree with the roots impregnated with truffle spores and should one day produce truffles (a truffle sniffing pig nwas ot included)
