Could someone tell me how classified ad works on ebay as i've just seen a car advertised for £3750 but the screen price is £5695.

Lots of my local car yards have screen prices much higher than the same cars advertised on the internet and in the paper.
The screen prices are i wish i could find a sucker to pay this much.. If someone does they are laughing all the way to the bank. Sensible buyers will haggle it down and know the cars true value.
The figures you put do seem strange though, either its advertised incorrectly or the sale is dodgy. Pictures stolen from elsewhere?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
They have now put the classified ad price up to £3795. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2012-12-Peugeot-107-1-0-12v-68bhp-Active-5dr-/111607506630?hash=item19fc5366c6:g:qh4AAOSwPhdVCZW00

euuughhh its a 107... £3795 is optimistic never mind £5k +
But mommykins and daddykins with some money and little beatrice WANTS a car NOW!!! but not willing to wait for xmas for a new one. Someone may pay it. Or think the seller is very nice when they instantly knock £500 off it.
Its worth what someone is willing to pay, maybe the cars are expensive up there and locals dont use the internet.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

I don't think £3795 is optimistic at all, these little cars really hold their price and if you look on auto trader or through the dealerships online that seems a fair price.
We have had several of the C1s (same car really) and barely lost anything between the buying and selling price on a nearly new one .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Several locally sold for closer to £3, some for less but higher miles. Although i didnt go and see them. Just on my list whilst doing insurance quotes for young drivers.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
