JSA - Bank Statements?!

Also, it's a royal pain in the !!! because my bank do not have a branch in my town.

I didnt read into it like that but its natural that you will be defensive.
It is what it is, no point going over it, you've been told that you need to hand in a bank statement, there is no way around it.
TBH I feel a little better knowing that peoples income/capital is being checked before they are given a portion of our tax money.0 -
Last time I had to show bank statements, there were a lot of small payments in. I wrote against each one where it had come from: son's birthday from family / Easter from family etc etc etc.
With an ISA transfer I'd get the final ISA statement as well, to save time ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
