Well that's your opinion..the odds are stacked against you for all competitions
You would be interested to know that people on this forum have won from these high entry competitions.

The Gleam clearly states how many entries have been received.
If all competitions did the same, I doubt you would enter for anything.

The odds are always stacked against you, but some are a lot better than others. This is an international competition so the odds are extremely high.


I make an educated guess on entry levels on the competitions I enter. As you say GLEAM clearly states the number of entries in a competition which I find very useful. I recently won a GLEAM comp where the value of the prize was worth more than many smart phones. There were less than 1500 entries.


Are you able to give an example of a competition that has been won by a forum member where there were in excess of 700,000 entries?

You are forgetting that Gleam are multiple entry so it's unclear to know how many individuals have entered this comp, I have 21 entries to date in this competition.

No I do not have an example of someone winning in excess of 700,000.
perhaps one of the winners will reply to this thread.

No need for any guess work about numbers - No Entry = No chance.

You could have entered and at least given yourself a chance in the time it took to post the number of entries in the first place and you could have improved your odds and made multiple entries instead of posting about not entering.

With the numbers at the moment someone could get their odds down to less than 30,000 to 1 which compares well to say Home-bargains with odds higher than that for a £100 voucher.

I wasn't forgetting about multiple entry but did not mention it. With reference to my recent GLEAM win I had considerably more than 21 entries. I like GLEAM comps.
