                    Hi,
We are in the month in which Persimmons have stated our completion date should be, specifically the 30th.
They have been unable to provide us for prices for our wet rooms, so we are having to do this ourselves. Which is fine, but with only a planned 2 weeks notice to be given to us we will no way find a fitter at such short notice.
Has anyone got any experience of getting notice sooner than 2 weeks on a new build?

Have you visited the property recently to ascertain how the build is progressing? I'm sure the site manager will have a good idea.0

We visit quote often, but I've been told by my solicitor that no matter what theyou say on site it's not until theiron solicitors give the nod that it's 'legal'...
No harm in asking the question though I guess!0

We bought through Taylor Wimpey and two weeks notice was two weeks notice, nothing more! They did from time to time let us know how things were proceeding but were always 100% clear that we will not get anything more than two weeks.
Even when the two weeks came they almost tried to get away with less notice.0
