I found it slow to load on Windows 7, too, and so don't find much difference on Windows 10 AU.

Have you a lot of Firefox extensions?

Maybe it's a problem with your user profile. You can try creating a new profile and test using that. Just run "firefox -p" via Start/Run to open the profile manager.

I have the same problem but I don't think its anything to do with Firefox as its also very slow using Edge. It appears to be a problem with the anniversary update. It has been reported to Microsoft here. If you have this problem click the Me Too button on this Micrsoft site as the more people voting might make it more of a priority to fix.

I have reverted back to the previous 2015 version of Windows 10 by clicking Recovery in the Update screen. It took about 15 minutes and since reverting back the internet is back to its normal speed. I think you only have 10 days to revert back to the previous build.
    Regards
