I am wondering if anyone can help me assemble a pop up waste with the metal rods etc? Thanks

OK here goes. I think the rod on the left is an extension for the one on the right which goes down the hole in the tap leaving the knob to pull it up and down. the middle rod needs dismantling, slide the metal clip off then undo the screw on the right angle joint and slide that off. now unscrew the bit sticking out of the side of the waste and slide it onto the middle rod so that the nylon washer and ball fit in it. now screw it back where it came from. The rod should move up and down and will push the plug up to drain the sink. Put the rightangled joint back and the metal clip, assemble so that the rod which goes through the tap fits in the right angled joint, tighten screw. now, when you move the rod up and down the metal rod in the plughole should move the plug up and down, you may have to adjust things to get it working, there is a screw adjustment in the bottom of the plug if it doesn't seal properly.
Hope you can make sense of this, it is much easier to do than explain, good luck.0 -
