3rd party payout queery

Hi all,
Would be great if I could get help on this.
I recently got into an accident as a named driver and the person who crashed into me has accepted liability to their insurance company. Will this this third party insurance still pay out if they determine my insurance to be invalid due to fronting?
They certainly can't prove fronting although I've been told that, as I sometimes use the car to drive to work, I should be the main driver and the third party insurer may refuse to pay.
Many thanks!

Your own insurance status has no bearing on your right to make a claim against a third party insurer. You could have no insurance at all, and if some numptie drove into your car then he (or his insurers) would still be obliged to pay for the repairs.
Of course there are plenty of other reasons why you really don't want to be accused of fronting, and if you use the car to drive to work and the other driver doesn't that at the very least would be grounds for your own insurer to be rather suspicious about who the main driver actually is.0 -
Thanks for this. Good news that I will be payed by the third party but I will certainly be looking into whether insurance details need to be changed0
