La Scala Tickets & Milan trip help

I'm looking to book 2 nights in Milan for my wife's birthday this December

She would love to go to La Scala, so I've come up with the following plan

Thu 20th December RyanAir flight from Liverpool to Bergamo airport - we get there late (around 21.35) so would need to get a taxi not a train

2 nights hotel accomodation (already got hotel picked)

Fri Night - Swan Lake at La Scala

Questions
How much does it cost in a taxi to the centre of Milan from Bergamo airport?

Has anyone bought tickets for La Scala? If so, what are my best options? Book them direct? Can you get them easily enough or should I go through an agent? If so which one?

My boyfriend and I are going to Milan 11th December with Ryanair to Bergamo. Been told theres a big christmas market there early december!

Where are you staying Funkmaster? We haven't chosen our hotel yet.

I looked on Trip Advisor and liked the look of their #4 hotel - small and trendy by all accounts (4.5/5.0)

Don't want to book anything until I know I can get tickets for La Scala - and tickets are only out in November so that's why I need to know what kind of chance there is to get tickets when they are out.

You can get a return bus ticket (from Bergamo to Milano Centrale Station and return) for Euro 14.50.
there's a bus every 30 mins and I think the last one is at 12.30am or even 1am!

A taxi would be rather expensive... It's probably about 50km...
