UKPC Charge

Recieved a parking charge from UKPC last saturday and being naive and not up to speed with being able to appeal i went ahead and paid the reduced fine of £60. Only problem is that I was so worried about it I put cash in the return envelope along with the tear off chit and posted it off.
Are they likely to pocket the cash, say i didnt pay and demand the full amount? And if so would my best course of action be to follow the NEWBIE feed for appeals?

No disrespect to you, don't you read the press, don't you see all the scams exposed on TV's Watchdog, Fake Britain, you name it.
Well, this is one of them by UKPC.
Who knows if they will pocket the money, you were a fool to do this and then come here for a magic wand ??
Sorry but you let the horse bolt before you put the reigns on
If you get another ticket from these cowboys .... COME HERE FIRST0 -
I'm aware I should have looked here first, but this being my first time on this situation i was a bit like a rabit in the headlights.
I'm not looking for a magic wand, just some advice. If I ring UKPC on monday chasing the payment does that damage my ability to successfully appeal in the way mentioned in this forum?0 -

You can't appeal if you have already paid. You can only hope they did receive the money and cancel the PCN. If they don't you will have an uphill battle in front of you.
For future reference, never ever pay a parking scammer. Research then appeal.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

We all understand what you are saying
There is no appeal, you paid them, they don't care ... end of ?
Just accept you have entered the world of scammers, you did what they wanted ...... don't fall for a scam again, think first, search on google, if it's a scam it will be there ..... loads on UKPC
Google .... UKPC SCAM0 -
But assuming they pocket the money and dont cancel the PCN i am still able to appeal and ringing them wont invalidate my position?0

You have no receipt, you just put cash in an envelope.
If you have no proof what do you think you can do.
You have invalidated your position by paying them
Not being rude to you but these scammers adore people like you
THERE IS NO APPEAL0 -
DO UKPC really include payment envelopes ???????0
