Once your fixed term is up you will move on to their standard tariff. If you don't want to change provider you need do nothing and just wait and see what comes up.0

You've left things somewhat late if you deal expires in 3 days time - it will take at least 17 days to switch supplier (possible up to about 5 weeks)
As molerat says, and as I am sure you would have been advised by Eon, if you do nothing, you will be moved to Eon's expensive standard variable rate tariff (whatever they call that, because they don't actually call it that)
There's no guarantee that the MSE collective switch will result in Eon being the winner this time. So you could be on the suppliers expensive variable rate tariff for 4-7 weeks. It might be quicker if Eon do win, but they may not be the best supplier for you. Usually you can save money (even with MSE collective switched) if you look at seperate suppliers (although the MSE collective switch tariff may be best for one of the energy supplies)
Probably too late now, but I would have just gone with the cheapest suppliers several weeks ago. It would have avoided several possible weeks on the Eons expensive tariff, and if a cracking deal did come along, you can always switch again. Typical early exit charges are about £30 per fuel, MSE would give you £15 cashback anyway, meaning if the deal doesn't save you £15 a fuel, don't bother.
Thinking about it, I'd still go with the best deals available to you now. If the MSE collective switch comes out best for at least one fuel, you would still be within the 14 day cooling off period anyway
(and if it doesn't, you have minimised your time on Eons expensive variable tariff)0 -

Hello shazzablue.
Although a bit late, you're still inside the Price Protection window. This is open 49 calendar days before a fixed deal (like the MSE collective) ends until 20 working days after. During this period and provided we're told, we'll make sure you're protected against any price changes that aren't in your favour whilst a change of supplier goes through. Exit fees don't apply whilst the window is open either.
It usually takes about two and half weeks to switch supplier. If you start the switch soon, we should receive the loss notification within the window and the above will kick in. As molerat and footyguy say, if we don't receive a request for the supply before the window closes, you'll automatically go on to our standard prices, Energy Plan, at the end of your current deal.
Hope this helps shazzablue. Let me know if you need any more information as happy to help.
