It sounds like you've already made a good start by switching supplier and working on selling things on Ebay / Amazon etc. There is a monthly challenge thread, where people try to earn an extra £10 a day for a month here:

There are lots of ideas on there of how to earn an extra few pounds. Some might not be quick enough to earn a substantial amount by the end of this month, but well worth a look for earning ideas. Good luck with your challenge!
  • Crumbs almighty! She asked for some help. Not a lecture and a million questions on how she runs her life.
Amy, I think you might struggle getting £300 in 3 weeks in your first month of trying. Those of us who make money on the £10 a day thread have multiple irons in the fire and have been at it a long time. PTC websites and sites like swagbucks (which is more than PTC and one of my favourites) won't make you anywhere near that in a month...a year maybe.
Lots of people make money matched betting - it's not something I'd reccommend personally (much to easy to get sucked into the gambling sites and loose real money) and you need money initially for that.

could you get some overtime on your job - no idea what you do - but if you have a job where you could pick up some extra shifts or hours..

someone suggested babysitting - as in baby sit other people's children. Could you explain to your child's friends parents and offer to baby sit their darlings so that they could go out. It's no different to looking after your own.. but it's also awkward to ask for payment.. I once looked after a 9 yr old all day while the parents were working... not a penny.

The other option: Get a credit card, put the kennels on the credit card and then join survey sites and swagbucks and other sites (look at the £10 a day thread for ideas) and pay it off using that money. You can easily make £300 in a few months.

Well done on changing the energy supplier - if you're due a rebate it'll come through quite quickly. Are you able to ask the bank for a O/D?

I'd talk to the husband, I know the poochies are your responsibility and he paid for the holiday but it's better to be honest with those who love you.. just cos they can cheer you on from the sidelines when you make an 3bay sale or cash out a voucher on a site etc.

    Good luck with it!
    Make £520 a year in 2020 so far (£0 cash £0 AGC)

    (2019,£481.69) (2018, no idea!) ( 2017 £673.20) (2016 £800.97) (2015 £791.42/$312)

    Penny challenge: 21/366 (66.70/671.61)
    NSD 7/150
  • Thank you. I have joined the 10 a day challenge. Already sold 2 things for £20 so off to a good start. I have got tons of old baby clothes/stuff that I can flog. I am on loads of survey sites but I find it takes a long time to get anything. Thank you for your ideas. I feel motivated to do this now.
