Need to save/earn £300 by the end of September to put my dogs in kennels

Hi, I have a holiday booked for the end of the month. (I know, shouldn't be doing this when I need to save money, but hey, what's done is done) Have to put my dogs in kennels and want to make the money up by the end of the month so I don't have to ask my husband for a bailout. It's gonna cost me £300. I've already switched energy supplier and am around £150 in credit so hopefully should get a cheque back for that. I've listed some things on selling sites and am going to spend most of the weekend clearing out more stuff to sell. I'm just wondering if there is anything anyone could think of to earn a bit more quick cash? Tia

Uber driver? Takeaway driver?
Could nobody watch the dogs? £300 sounds a lot unless you have like 10 dogs or go on a 3 month holidayMortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0
Cashback sites: £900 | £30k in 2016: £30,300 (101%)0 -
That's cheap for 2 weeks for 2 dogs. I've had quotes for upwards of £500! Unfortunately I don't drive and I also work full time and have a 3 year old so ideally something I can do at home during evenings would be great or even something internetty that I can do on the bus.0

Babysitting? Do you have a partner or relative who could look after your own child?
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I'm sorry. I don't understand regarding babysitting? I work 40 plus hours a week and have childcare arrangements for that.0

I'm guessing they meant babysitting as in YOU babysitting other children to help earn some money?0

Ah, that makes a little more sense. Wouldn't even know where to start to be honest0

Why do you have to pay for the dogs' kennels out of your own money when you're married - pet expenses are something most married couples pay jointly.0

Because the dogs are my responsibility. Plus he paid for the holiday. I know it's a strange arrangement and if I asked him he would pay but I like a challenge and want to do it by myself.0

Well there's plenty of Get Paid To websites, where you get paid for things like doing surveys, watching videos etc, although they're not going to earn you 300 quid in the next 3 or 4 weeks. If you're interested in those kind of things though, one of the best is Swagbucks, where it's possible to earn about £25 a month, which is 300 quid in a year anyway!
There's a good topic on it here:

Besides that sort of thing, there's a Money Makeover guide here, and Step 2 lists a whole range of ways to save or earn money:

There's also a load of travel tips here:

Don't know whether those are of any interest.0 -
