Hi Guys,
I would like to know if anyone else has had this experience.
When in Greece we called a Doctor, who said it was a free call out.
Ok'd buy travel ins company first.
The doc came and wrote out a pain prescription.
When I mentioned travel ins he called his office and said that will be £100. why I asked, he said that was my excess.. I said that is was £60 on policy, called office again then said ok £60.
Why was I charged to the max excess and is this standard rip off practice.
Travel ins company no help.

Yes, it's pretty standard practice for private doctors at holiday resorts. It might be a free call out but there's still going to be a charge for their services. £60 is low for a private doctor's appt, it could have been far worse.
